I started this agency because I kept seeing brilliant creatives with big ideas struggle to share them in a way that actually stuck. And I believe your services deserve more than copy-paste content or a website that feels like everyone else’s.

Marketer, writer, creative soul, content creator, and dog mom.

About

My favorite part of this work is untangling the mess. We'll take all those half-written Google Docs, sticky notes, and voice memos and turn them into a message that feels simple, strong, and authentic.

Whether you want to DIY with resources and guides or have me build the strategy for you, the goal is the same: clarity that makes sharing your work feel easy (and maybe even fun).

not sure how to use them?

Head full of ideas, but

Let me guess...

“Dakota is the just most amazing marketer we’ve ever worked with. She immediately got us and was able to translate it into content in a way we never could.”

But through all of it, I saw the same thing over and over: brilliant people with big ideas struggling to share them in a way that made sense.

That’s when I decided to do things differently. I started Dakota Lane as a boutique agency with one mission: make strategy and content clear, approachable, and actually fun. These days, I get to turn jumbled ideas into messaging that works—and nothing makes me happier than seeing clients light up when their story clicks.

I’ve always been a little obsessed with communication—writing, designing, brainstorming ideas with friends. So it wasn’t a huge surprise that I ended up with a communications degree and a career in marketing. But what might surprise you is how many twists and turns it took to get here.

I worked in agencies, in-house teams, and alongside entrepreneurs, soaking up every part of marketing I could. Some jobs lit me up, others… not so much.

Before the agency, there was just a girl who asked a lot of questions.
